Background
Where hurricane Harvey hit the hardest, 80 percent of the houses lacked flood insurance. It´s getting harder and harder to predict where natural disasters will strike, which also means that people don’t know if they need the necessary insurances or not.

Insight
We have an accurate backup of all our data but not for our homes.

Idea
To help families that lose everything during a natural disaster, Google will create a service that stores the way homes look and uploads them into its cloud. Through this, communities will help each other to build back what they once had.
